Why do foreign companies need a Canadian Representative to sell their drug products in Canada?
In order for foreign drug companies to market their products in Canada, they must first have an office or site in Canada. For many organizations, the setup costs and ongoing expenses linked to such a facility make this move impractical. The utilization of Hope Pharma Inc. as your Canadian Representative make it possible to have your products on the Canadian market, without the need for your company to maintain a physical presence in the country. Hope Pharma will act as an extension of your organization within Canada, and provide the following services:
- Provide the use of Hope Pharma address for your principal place of business in Canada
- Undertake communications with Health Canada with respect to your products on the market in Canada
- Coordinate with a third party Quality Assurance/Regulatory organization who will ensure compliance to Canadian Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory requirements for drugs
- Coordinate with a testing laboratory for testing of samples, required by Health Canada
- Maintain your foreign sites on Hope Pharma Drug Establishment License
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and client procedures for products handled by Hope Pharma
- Oversee management and storage of samples of your products in accordance with Health Canada Guidelines and Regulations
- Oversee management and storage of batch documents related to your products
- Aid in the coordination of product recalls if necessary
